July 21th 7:45 PM EST: CHICAGO ***Network Outage / Emergency Maintenance*** RESOLVED
Dear Clients,
We deeply apologize for the inconveniences caused by the last two days outages. Especially not being able to communicate through the website or send bulk emails out because our back end is hosted in Chicago as well.
We issued a credit of 7 days of service to all Chicago clients even if these events were out of our hands.
Our Chicago provider experienced two major DDOS attacks on their network on the 20th, one in the morning and one at night.
It took a long time to mitigate the attacks because of their magnitude, our providers core routers were overloaded.
Tonight, July 21th a distribution switch failure afflicted our provider causing another extensive outage.
It is the first time in almost four years that we had such a problem with our Chicago Provider.
We understand that these types of issues do happen with any provider but we are extremely disappointed in their resolution time.
We thrive in giving the best service and support as possible and we assure you that these events are completely out of the ordinary.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.

These two companies are having issues yet again in the Dallas area. You can check out the status of how the data is at http://www.internetpulse.net/. If you have data that hits either of those two networks then your data may get lost which causes the lag spikes.
Hopefully these companies will fix their problems soon and it will go back to normal.
Unfortunaly our provider has no control over these problems as these problems are outside their network.

May 2 : UK/LONDON General Connectivity Issue ***Resolved***
Dear clients,
There is currently a significant problem with LINX.
LINX:(LINX is where the majority of UK Internet Service Providers and content providers connect to each other and exchange traffic.)
There is a considerable amount of network disruption at other UK-EU providers as a result of this problem at LINX. If you use certain UK providers to connect to us you may see performance adversely affected and also packet loss; this is a problem at the provider/LINX end rather than our provider.
Unfortunately the problem is outside our provider control as LINX is a different network.
We will update this ticket as soon as we have news on the problem.
UPDATE: This issue is now resolved
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
